The Hall
of Mirrors |

| The Hall of Mirrors is rumored to exist in the Shadow
Lords' Castle. If it still exists, it would, among other
things, be a gateway to the Chaos Realms. It's length is indeterminate;
you can't see the end of it, but vision is limited by the dimness.
The Hall is lined with mirrors of every shape, size, and color,
and dimly lit by scattered candles. They are no ordinary mirrors,
for if one looks into them, one can see any number of strange
things, from images of ones past, to events happening in the
present somewhere else, to vision of one's own death, or strange
reflections of alternate possible worlds that might have been,
had different choices been made. Their meaning is variable and
difficult to see, as is the path to the Hall itself. |
