The Ice Caves of the Nameless One
The
Ice Caves of the Nameless One are on the far eastern edge of the glacier
which covers most of the Great Frozen Waste.
It is from here that the Namless One attempts to bring about his plan
for our worlds, with the help of those beings he has corrupted, persuaded,
or intimidated into helping him achieve his goal. The caves burrow for
probably miles into the deepest, coldest part of the great glacier, the
walls glowing softly with refracted light coming from the sky outside.
From exactly where within those winding corridors the Nameless One rules
is not known, for he guards his realm jealously, and none who have entered
the ice caves have ever returned, except for those few who are working
for the Nameless One himself, with whom we are not on speaking terms.
Compared to the Shadow Lords,
the Nameless One has very few servants (though those he has seem to be
far more loyal to him than the Servants
of the Shadow Lords are to them), and few of them ever find it neccessary
to visit the Ice Caves. The Nameless One seems dedicated to persuing his
goal over all else, and thus has little time for the frivolities of court
that the Shadow Lords enjoy, and so the Ice Caves are remarkably empty,
for all that they house one of the most powerful beings in the
Planes.
